Opinions wanted - 89 chevy g20 van repair nightmare

My uncle did this very same thing.....to his own car!
I helped him out putting a junkyard engine in it but the new motor burns oil and leaks a little.....he replaced an 89,000 mile engine with a 161,000 mile engine..........moral of this story.....dont forget the oil!
