Default Outdatted MyLink systems from early 201x cars.

Just wondering if anyone had any solutions outside of aftermarket? Most Android apps that link up with a 1st gen MyLink (I think mine is 1st gen), are only supported up to Android 7 (BringGo GPS being the main culprit). This means you have to be stuck on Android 7. Now I DO have an Android 8 phone I had to force install Bringgo on, I lost voice but it works... but what happens when its completely incompatible? it kinda is broken now since you cant just go to the GP\IOS store and install your GPS, you have to sideload to get it back.

Is Chevy gonna do anything? There are hundreds of thousands of these cars on the road. Anyone know anything? Sorry I didnt know where else to post.
