Default please help me figure this out

today when i started my truck (k1500) it idled really rough and now everytime i stop at a light, etc. the rpms drop and then jump right back up.

i under stand it does this when you turn on the a/c because of the compressor but i didnt have it on. the rpms are dropping to point to where the truck gets so close to stalling and when i go to accelerate from a stop at first its kind of jumpy until the rpms get back to normal.

anyone know whats wrong?

Welcome to the forum. It's not your description but the problem itself that's the problem. You can't expect us to come up with any sort of an advice on a nonspecific problem like that. Try showing/asking older folks in your family/friends?
