i had the intake manifold gasket replaced a month ago, now i get a code 35, IAC. so i replaced the valve... nothing happens. when i turn the a/c on or use the power steering pump the truck stalls. the distributer. came out when the intake gasket was replaced and was not tightened down. i tightned it since with no change i checked all wired all grounds everything checks out the code is now gone but the truck still stalls

is this a timing issue? idle in P or N is 1000rpm, idle in gear is 7 to eight somtime 6. it moves. when it wants

THE TRUCK DRIVES FINE!! JUST WEIRD IDLE!

 

After replacing iacv.. did you drive it any.. they need a relearn.Drive for 30 min or so at different speeds.
Also need to check timing 0degree tdc. Should have a timing sticker at rad. support with info on how to time disconnect timing wire ect.

 

It was the timing! i had it set just a hair off, all is good now. code will still throw if you let the motor idle with air off and no gas for like 10 min but as soon as you give it a little gas it goes away, the truck is now running GREAT.
