I have a 92 caprice with a 5.7 and was wondering about my rear end. I was told that the in the stock rear end, only one wheel has power. today I was acting an *** in the parking lot by burning some rubber. I noticed that both my back wheels was smoking. another thing is that when I hit the gas in the snow only one wheel moves. can someone please explain what rear end I might have.

 

look on inside of your truck lid for your SPID label. It will list all your options and features on it. Each 3 letter/number group represents an item. Example G80 = rear locking diferential.
