Rebuilt transmission, now have P2534 and P069E Code
Hey everyone, first of all thanks for any advice in advance. My wife has a 2010 Suburban LT 4x4 that has about 188K miles on her. Transmission went out a couple of weeks ago. Called a few shops, and found one able to get started on it quickly. My mistake was not looking them up and asking more questions. ended up taking 2 weeks vs 3-5 days. when I go to pick up they tell me they don't take credit cards, and ppl usually pay cash. Cost was $3900 for rebuild and change out the rear main seal. So that hurt my checking account. (sorry just venting there, and yes I should have asked more questions). So I have the suburban back, and it occasionally kicks like hard shift, or slipping shift. Once we are going it is fine and shifts fine etc.. I will be taking it back up there, but I can't get it to do the hard shift all of the time. so getting it to do it when I go back may be an issue.
Before I take it back up there, and the reason I am posting this. The check engine light came on two days ago when my wife was out driving. She said it was shifting pretty hard before the CEL came on. I have a basic code reader and got P2534 and P069E Code. The vehicle drives just fine other than the hard shift now and then. My question is, do these codes have anything to do with the transmission. And is it possible they could have done something, to cause these codes. There was no CEL when we dropped off and the fact that it came on 2 days after we pick up seems to be more than a coincidence. My code reader won't clear the codes either.
Again Thanks for the Help.

So the suburban acted crazy, then would not start. had it towed to a local shop since we were out of town. Turns out the guys who did the transmission crushed the Fuel system control module plug causing a short. Took them a day and a half to find the problem, and cost me $600 bucks. But of course the transmission shop Denys they did it, even though the mechanic say it is obvious what happened. Them smashing the the connector caused a short. ended up replacing the battery as well .

So the suburban is still at their shop, If I had the money I would take it somewhere else for sure. I need them to fix or attempt to fix before I lose it on them. I kick myself for not doing the research, this guy had the quickest response and said all the right things. I do usually do all my repairs that I can myself. Transmissions are not on that list. I will be reporting to Better business Bureau, and Reviewing everywhere I can. If I get it back and it does not run right, I will take the lawyer action.
