We bought our college son a 2013 Equinox. When he went to pick it up, the fob wasn’t working to Auto Start. Son says the salesman dug through a box of old fobs and gave him one. It looks the same. But, of course, it wasn’t programmed for son’s car. Before I start fighting with the dealership - is there a way for us to reprogram the old fob to work with son’s car? We are going to visit son at college next weekend and want to get this taken care of.
