have o2 silverado w/4.3 run out of fuel wont start back have put more fuel do not really know what im doing need a lot of help can probably take care of problem if led in rigth direction

 

Can you hear the pump running for 2 seconds when you first turn the key on?

 

Pretty much guarantee you that your filter was plugged up when it sucked the last of the fuel and all the crap in the bottom of the tank out when you ran it dry. Change your filter and it will probably start.
If that does not fix it listen for the pump priming when you turnh your key on like Shawn said. I hope you did'nt blow it when it was running dry.
