SBC 383 stroker fuel pump pushrod?
I've recently started piecing together a 383 for my Malibu. I'm getting down to the final bits and pieces, and one of the things I still need to order is a fuel pump pushrod, as I'm still using a mechanical pump.
I've heard good things about Howard's Cams' composite pushrod, but I can't seem to find it in stock anywhere. I've put in an order, but there is no say when/if it will be in stock again. So, I've started looking for alternatives, and found that the type of pushrod you're able to use depends on the type of steel your camshaft is. I don't want to make any assumptions, so is there a "foolproof" pushrod I can use without worrying about wearing my cam down? Cam is a Comp hydraulic roller for reference.
