sml blk 400 in 2000 mustang...
I'm going to buy a 2000 mustang I am going to put a chevy small block 400 in it. Besides the motor mounts, a custom drive shaft, an custom headers, and stiffening the front suspension to handle the weight of the small block. What are the major problems i may run into with a running a chevy tranny in it? it will be a manual tranny as well. please help

just go with a t56. bulletproof mannys with ***** out power. and. well. thinking back to last year when my buddy slapped a fully built 460 into his 95 tang. he had to switch to hydroboost due to clearance of valve covers. had lowered and stiff springs but went with stock due to clearance of huge *** longtube headers. wiring. built rear end. driveshaft. ratchet shifter. radiator was custom made. huge *** trans cooler becuase of 3000 stall. lots of relays. had to get a mini starter due to huge *** longtubes. so. first thing id do. look to see how different in weight and size the motors are between the stocker motor in the tang and the 400. see where the mounts sit in relation to the block to see if the motor sits farther back or forward. then. from there. draw in your head where exhaust will run, and so on and so forth.
