I have been searching for a shorter wand to use on my pressure washer so that I can more easily get underneath my vehicles....
I could not readily find anything so a trip to Lowe's and about ~$23 worth of parts I now have a stubby wand attachment

The normal wand extension is about ~21 inches my new one is 5 inches...
The total length with wand and handle was 44 inches! now its 24

3/8 female pipe thread to pressure washer adaptor
1/4 female QD connector for the nozzle attachments
3/8 to 1/4 reducer
1/4x 2 inch nipple, (I could have gone shorter on the nipple)

Warning: with the shorter extension you can easily put your hands in the high pressure spray pattern, Don't do that....

People forget that high pressure water can cut Steel
and it won't have any trouble detaching a finger or two

 

Hi! I just landed here in search of good pressure washer, instead of creating new thread or topic can you please quickly recommend me pressure washer for home use?? Last time is bought karchar pressure washer but I (stupid me) fitted that one on wrong place, now i sold that one and looking for new best pressure washer!
