Default sudden loss of oil pressure on 4.3

Hey guys. I was out driving yesterday and while at a stop sign I noticed that my oil pressure gauge was at zero. Pulled into a gas station and added a couple of quarts (was slightly low) fired it up and still 0psi and valves rattling so I shut it off and towed it home. Pulled the pan and oil pump today, tested the pump and seems to be functioning fine (spewed oil all over the driveway even at low rpm). Pulled all the rod and main caps and bearings look fine. I dont know what else to check.

BTW its a 1998 c1500 with a 4.3 and 230,000 miles.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Jeff

Based on what you posted, I'd say plugged oil passages. At that mileage, you might consider if you want/need to keep it to put in a crate engine.
