what all would I need to swap my 95 tbi to an lt1 in terms of electronics and if it will hook-up to my 4x4 transmission

 

it will hook up to your trans but you will need a lt1 specific pcm . i assume you are refering to the gen 2 lt1 not the new corvette one or the early original lt1. the pass side motor mount sets back further on the pass side because of the ac compressor and may hit the frame. if you are useing the gen 2 motor and electronics use the 95 pcm to keep your trans operating correctly. you will also have to deal with the vats system which most trucks didnt have and all lt1 cars did. i just did a complete lt1 swap into my 86 elcomino and had to address all of the issues
