Harmonic balancer timing mark is at TDC on the compression stroke. Best I could do with the rotor is it is maybe a 1/4 inch before the No.1 contact point on the cap. Do you think that’s good enough? This is on a 1999 7.4 vortec with the crab style cap. Tried and tried to get it right on but this is the best I can do with it.
