Im a first timer on a forum. I have a 83 swb Chevy truck. reverse just went out and I have a few 700r4s laying around and want to do a swap. want to do it on something before I do I on my 46 Chevy truck. my main concern with the 83 cause im going to sell it is if I just put the transmission in and get everything together do I really need anything for the plug in. All im looking to do is get this thing to drive good and sell it. I've read on other post that ill need a adapter for the cable but other than that what else do I need for it to shift properly. i really don't want a patch job to bite me on the butt. Rather use what i have than rebuild the 350. Thanks for the advice in advance. Was hoping to catch a few of you guys who have done this a time or two
