I have a late 87' 700r4 in my truck. The trans started grinding in first and reverse so I dropped it to rebuild it. Figured the sprags went out or something. Well after I dropped the trans and removed the tourqe converter and the pmp bolts along with the 2-4 servo, I went to pull the pump. THE PUMP WILL NOT COME OUT! I have used a slide hammer and everything. If anyone has a fix for this problem please let me know. I also want to know if anyone could suggest a good place for reman trans.
