Default Thump Thump from HVAC right side dash

Hello , I have a thump thump noise coming from right side dash on my 2005 Silverado. I am thinking its an actuator door gear slipping or something related. Does anyone have any experience or first hand knowledge relating to this thumping sound . Thanks and appreciate any help.

Is it soon after starting up? I have thumping in my Savana too. I read somewhere in the TSB's that it's totally normal. I don't remember the exact wording, but it's things being automatically adjusted.

Yup I'd put money on it being either a bad actuator specifically the one for ur blend door or the door itself best thing pull the actuator see if u can manipulate it by hand smoothly
