Ticking noise in dash ?

Ticking noise in dash ?
I have a 2002 Impalaand there is an annoying ticking noise coming from the dash. When you apply the brakes, it stops, as soon as you let off the brakes it starts up again. Could it be the Odometer ??[/align]
