Torque converter question
Hello, I was looking for some expert advice in regards to a torque converter that I am about to put in my truck. Ive got a 400c engine with a 2200-6400 rpm cam and the torque converter I got is 1800-2200 rpm stall. The truck is chevy LUV pickup. Is this a wise decision on my part or should I be using torque converter with higher stall? Any help would be appreciated thanks..
a lot depends on the duration of the cam 'much past 292 duration and it will not idle in drive very goof with out a 3500-4000 stall converter.but youn can then get some heating issue's make's driving on the high way a little tough . much more duration than that and then you need a manual tran's .
