Default Torsion Bar Raise for 93 chevy 1500

ok so is raising torsion bars really that bad for your vehicle. or does it just make the ride different, I just don't want to mess anything up, and I am fine with the ride being different. I have a leveling kit in front and want to run 35s without trimming and I knew my next best cheap option would be to raise the torsion bars ......any pointers?

adjusting the bar's will roughen up the ride a bit but not hurt any thing, you will only get about 3/4 to 1 1/2 inch more height ,you will need to have the truck front end alignment re done .

I talked to a mechanic and he said that it would be fine to raise them but not all the way bc it will be like riding on ice if you hit a rough spot
