Default Trailer Brake Controller

Can an OEM trailer brake controller be added to my 2014 Silverado if it did not come from the factory with one.

Default Noooo, wait Trailers Brake Controllers CAN be added

You guys are on the right path. The factory TBC can be added as well as adding to vehicles prior to its introduction.

Take a read on the slight modification to this Escalade.

Yes, it is possible to add an OEM trailer brake controller to a 2014 Silverado even if it did not come from the factory with one. An OEM (original equipment manufacturer) brake controller is designed to work seamlessly with your vehicle's existing wiring and braking system, providing a reliable and convenient way to control the brakes on your trailer.
