Default Transmission guys, need your advice please ergent

Hello, what would you suggest for a overhaul kit for a 89 4x4 700r4/4l60.

i was thinking of this kit

# 74009B-BS Complete Service Kit, 700R4, 1987-93
Includes: Overhaul kit, Borg Warner friction clutch plates, steel clutch plates, Borg Warner band, filter, pump bushing, pump seal retainer, Corvette style servo piston, and accumulator piston.
Includes 74006B, 74089, B74020AH, 74010, 74034, A74905BK, (2) A74927
$ 137.76

is this a decent kit,

what about the sun shell? if the OEM looks good, should reuse it or replace with what? the beast? and OEM replacement?

also what about the front sprag?
if it looks good re-use or replace it? i have heard re-place if it has 50k miles or more? will one from a 4l60-e work?

now for the vette servo, this kit comes with one.. is it a waste? or a good idea,,

VB corection kit 700sk is this a decent kit? made by trans-go. controls 3-4 clutch burn up, ect..

here is the website i was thinking of purchasing these items..

http://www.makcotransmissionparts.com/4L60-700R4.html

thanks for your info..

i was also looking at thi#K17. You get a stock Alto 700R4 master rebuild kit, oversize .500" Mega Valve, a Corvette servo plus an Alto Red Eagle band and filter. What this kit has that a stock 700R4 transmission doesn't have is the Alto Red Eagle band and an oversize pressure valve that is .029" larger than the largest factory valve. The Mega Valve will give your transmission firmer shifts and more holding force on the clutches and band. Fits Chevy 1987-1993 700R4 transmissions. Cost $145.00. SAVE $16.00 HERE !, 10% OFF

thanks again..

I also have a bone stock kit with oem type alto clutches.. but i know the 3-4 pack could use some help. so i dont want to use this kit..

so far things look good in this trans.

well, a quick little tid bit for ya. get a trans book. look at the tolerances for the shells. and sprag. first thing i will tell you is that beast sun shell is great, but i noticed that the part where a bearing goes, it didn't look completely machined and flat. turns out, i went to a trans shop and asked them what they thought and he said he loves the beast shell, but every trans he uses it in, comes back in 4 years with the bearing sitting in the pan. meaning i was right that there was a slight issue with tolerances. FLT transmission company took the beast, machined it, put a torrington bearing on it and it works perfectly. just some information on that
