transmission problem

I have a 4l60e in a 97 Tahoe. Will not go into gear from park to over drive, it WILL however go into gear when manually starting out in low and manually shifting through all gears.

trans

Im not real familiar with this trans but I beleive there is a shift soledoid that can go bad. These trans are totally elec controlled.

He should be able to scan for TCM codes in this car.
