ok my 03 chev silverado 4x4 LT 5.3l truck kingcab when i go out of town like to pismo about 180 mil. i stop for a break about 60mil. start it back up the check engine light comes on and will stay on all weekend i get home at 6 sunday night go to work monday it is NOT on any more only when i drive out of town. does any one have a thought

 

You need to get the computer scanned for codes. The light could come on for many reasons

 

will it read a code if it not on it not on driving around town
