Question trouble putting a year to block for rebuild

NEED SOME HELP PLEASE. I have a 1985 Chevrolet El Camino that I swapped the original 305 and 200 tranny for a 350 on 350. I did the swap about 6 years ago but never got around to finishing it. I'm wanting to rebuild it to a minimum 500hp. I got the numbers off the front of the block and they started with CE. Everywhere I've looked CE is for engines that were replaced with a warranty. I was told the motor came out of a 79model 1 ton. Any way of putting a year to this block. The numbers on the back are 3070010. Thx in advance.
