I have a 2011 silverado 1500 4 door two wheel drive truck . My father in law has a 2008 texas edition 1500 two wheel drive , his truck rides like a cadillac compared to mine. Is suspension different in two trucks or something ? We both have 20" wheels and same tires Thanks, Jeff

 

There are differences in the suspension, but, it's probably that you have stiffer Shocks on yours. They make Adjustable Shocks (you set the stiffness).
If you get a set of these, you probably can make it ride like a Cadillac, and then like a truck should that's shocked for carrying an intended load.

 

It maybe your tires.Newer tires always ride better.

 

Yea, and I think they run faster after you wash them.

 

go to your glove box and compare the build sheets. there are multiple suspension builds I'm betting.
