Default Which u-joint retainers for replacement

Hi all,
I just removed the oem u-joints on my 99 K1500 Burb with the plastic retained endcaps and was wondering what u-joints to replace with. Most of the online parts stores show both inner and outer retained end caps. Am I to assume that either will install on this vehicle? To me it seems like the outer retainers might be easier as those C type inner clips that seem to head into the nether world if you slip. I'm gonna use non greasable for u-joint strength. Thanks for any input.

if the cap is pressed into the yoke; use the ones for the outer end caps...the c clip are used on the cap grooves (and center the joint) for when the driveshaft is bolted to the pinion flange....

c clips for the two caps that are not pressed into the yolk

Thanks for the reply. From the store pictures, the u-joint of choice comes with either 4 c-clips or 4 end clips. So they don't seem to make any distinction between the clamped in caps or the pressed in ones, as you have at the rear axle. In other words you either order a u-joint with all c- clips or all end clips, which is what I'm trying to understand, for ordering.
