ok, so putting a v8 in my 2000 s 10 to be built as a race truck, the truck must have a 5 speed transmission in order to race my class.


i'm trying to clear up the nv3500/mg5/mg50/my2 blues, i have an nv3500 from a 96 chevy c1500 and its too short bellhousing length wise to get the shifter up through the whole from my 4cylinders 5 speed transmission, i'm trying to figure out what transmission code the 4.3l s 10 2wd's would have used to meet the same hole and have the bellhousing, or did they change the location of the hole in the floor of the 4.3 trucks?
