Vacuum hoses for climate control
2012 Chevrolet express 3500lt, 6.0L v8
Does anyone have access to Chevrolet service data? I need to know what size the vacuum hose is that goes from the vacuum reservoir ball (under battery tray) and goes to the t fitting for the climate control distribution panel.
one hose goes from intake manifold to T fitting, one hose goes from t fitting into hvac box, and the one I need goes from t fitting to vacuum ball.
any help is appreciated please and thankyou

1) Intake to check valve - 1/4”
2) Check valve to reservoir - 3/16”
These aren’t the OEM sizes but they work just fine - 2 feet of each is enough. I’ve used them on several express chassis cube vans for a customer who has a fleet of them.
I also recommend replacing the check valve while you’re at it just because they’re cheap and I’ve had a few of them that broke because the plastic was brittle after several years.
3) Check valve into cabin I think is 7/64” but I’m not sure. I’ve never had to replace it. Most parts chains will have it on the shelf.

thanks for the reply! Nobody at Chevy was of any help so this is very helpful info! Thanks man
You’re welcome. I forgot to mention it, but I recommend using reinforced fuel line - it stands up to the heat of the engine bay much better than regular vac or emissions grade line.
