Hi name is jonny i am planning on building a 383 stroker which will have about 500hp i have a choice of 2 blocks both are 350 4 bolts 1 is 3970010 which i have been told has high nickel content and is strong or the other i think is a factory 300hp camaro block which 1 will suit the job better ?

 

I'd go with 3970010. All other things being equal, it seems you have more solid factual data about that block...
