My name is Mike, from Indonesia.

I am driving a Chevrolet Optra 1.8L, also known as a Suzuki Forenza in the states. I have a problem here, my car was working fine until this morning when i wanted to drive out, my car suddenly shows the "HOLD" light flashing and when i was shifting gears from P to D the car gave a hard knock and suddenly when i press the gas, i notice that the gear is stuck @ 3rd gear. I tried to turn off the car and starting it back and its still the same. Tried to remove the negative cable from the battery for about 1 hr to reset the ECU = still didnt help.

previously, i had this problem whereby the car when crusing @ 80km/hr the car jerks a bit with the RPM erracticly goes from 2k-2.2k rpm.

i have no idea what to do now as the car's warranty has just ended.

anyone here hav any similar experience?

i believe the transmission is a ZF4HP16. The car batch is 2004 since i got the car jan 2005
