despite the rotors and pads being changed at the beginning of winter, the front disc brakes chatter under a heavy load. I fear the baby may be chewing through them too fast. I am usually easy on them, but sudden hard stops are sometimes needed with the wacko drivers here in CT. What do to?

 

the rotors need to be machined or replaced.

ask around for prices to machine the rotors...if your handy, take them off and bring them in. Some places will do it for cheap if you bring them in.

price out new stuff cause sometimes new parts are so cheap, its not worth machining old stuff.
