I bought car a few months ago, had to put a shifter in it before it left the dealer. Now I have NO cruise and the shifter clicks when you push on the brake, I don't know what the heck. I love the car, but have been told the gearshift has alot of faults with this car, help .

do you have warranty on car? If so why not to ask dealer?

 

No warranty, bought it used.

 

Who put the shifter in? If it was the dealer, I'd make them fix it.

 

The shifter was replaced by the used car dealer that we purchased the car from! I am havin them look they say it sounds like the lil clip that comes undone, as it is known for that... they also said that they make a new shifter in a ( new style ) so gonna check into that too.
