Default My 2008 hhr cool fan!

Hello all my 08 hhr cool fan fuse 30A keeps blowing I know it has to be a short but I'm having a hard time finding it. Any advice???

turbo or na? how many wires to the fan motor?
inspect the cooling fan motor...does it spin freely?

Its na turbo and there is 2 wire with connectors, and fan spins with a little lag to it.

which..na=normally aspirated or turbo...can't be both. they use different systems...charge air cooler.

It is not a turbo. The fuse will work for maybe a hour or 2 and I have to replace the fuse.

I would recommend running a new circuit through your fusebox and abandon the old circuit.it may take some time, but a short in a particular circuit is difficult to run down. There are slots labeled as empty on your box.use new wires or you'll have the same problem
you may also have a bad fan motor drawing too many amps

fan should spin freely, no dragging. Even the slightest drag can indicate failure
