Hi, I have a 01 3.8 impala, it's been throwing a code for my egr valve being stuck closed so I cleaned it still got the code then I replaced it and I'm still getting the same code, I even cleared it to see if itd stay gone but it came back 20 minutes into driving and at this point im lost on what to do as I am not a mechanic I am just a 19 yrs old trying to fix my car on a budget.

 

I'd say if it's vacuum activated, check the vacuum source/hose. I'm not familiar with this type.
