Default key stuck in ignition and no power to start or crank the engine

hello all, I just woke up to a completely "dead" 2013 Impala LT this morning, as the key is now stuck in the ignition, and there are no signs of power anywhere...no "clicking" noises when I turn on any lights, open doors, etc. Does anyone out there know what this means...? I had a really bad storm last night with heavy rain and winds, however this car has been in storms and snow (when I was up in Indiana for a couple years), but have been back in Florida for over a year now. I don't want to assume it is the battery, then get jumped to go to work, only to be in the same situation later...I would love some tech help or suggestions, thank you to all. Mileage by the way just hit 80K.

It means the Battery is Dead. Charge it up and then have it tested, If it's bad then get a new Battery. If not then you need to see if something was left on accidentally or if something is drawing on the battery when the car is off.

This is second time. It’s not dead battery. First time we left it alone for 3 days before I was able to get key out. Now it’s second time. The key would not go pass start. No power. Even remote don’t work.
