i just bought an 01 impala interceptor
but a year ago i had a 95 riviera that i put a brand new crate 3.8 supercharged in and i have the motor wiring harness and computerlaying around
so i know it will bolt up everywhere but i dont think the obdI comp will run the obdII tranny
so i guess i was curious if i could flash the obdII to run the 95 motor and the 01 tranny
so what would i have to do to make the swap

 

What kind of engine did you have in ur 01? 3.4 3.8

 

i thought interceptors (cop cars)only came with the 3.8
but i have the 3.8

 

You might have to change BCM, PCM and alot of others to compare

 

why does bcm have anything to do with the drive train managment? out of curiosity im not to sure of what it does
obd I doesnt have any kind of boost managment and only the typical sensors you know the lame ones from the 80s hence vastly underated 3.8sc
i guess the real question is can i run an obdI motor with an obdII computer
