k so ive been havin this issue with my impala
message center box says service traction system
and at that point it shuts traction control off and the abs light come on
and my speedo is wrong like it will say 60 when in park and it varies sometimes it will work other times it wont but it seems like the warmer it is outside is when it wants to work also i dont think it works right when it rains either and ive looked into but have not yet replaced the trans speed sensor because ive seen on different forums that did not fix the problem

so just wondering if i should try changing that out for 45bux or drop 400 on havin the speedo changed or if possibly it could be somethin else
any input would be greatly appreciated

 

I dont know where you come u with 400 bucks.
Scan the car, and lets go from there.

 

400 came from a dealer here in town part and labor the check engine light is on so i'll grab the code off there but the last time i checked it it was just a vacume leak

 

ran the codes only thing that came up was the evap code and a coolant thermstat code but what was wierd was when i cleared those codes everything went back to normal no abs no trac. control and no check engine light

 

Dealer is a rip off. I can get you parts alot cheaper than that.

 

how cheap?......oh and i was drivin it around last night after i checked the codes and the speedo messed up again it happened when coming to a stop light i was slowing down and the speedo wasnt keeping up with my breaking and by time i came to a complete stop it said i was goin 15mph

 

Go to google and type BBEngineering. Email that guy your problem
