Default 06 Impala LT 3.5L check engine light

I have a 2006 Impala LT that has the check engine light on. I scanned it and it comes up with P0172 which I know is fuel too rich in bank 1. I changed the air filter and also the MAF sensor. It still has the light on. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions what this might be. Every once in a while it'll sound like the engine is sputtering. When I put it in reverse sometimes the car jerks after putting it in to gear

Without just throwing parts at it, when was the last time the fuel filter was changed? I would throw a gauge on the fuel rail to see what the pressure is. Maybe your fuel pressure regulator is going bad.
