Default 2000 Chevy Impala Cluster

I have a 2000 Chevy Impala 3.4L V6 with a three gauge cluster. I’ve been looking around to see if it’s possible to upgrade to a four gauge cluster (with tachometer) or even a six gauge (with battery, oil, and tachometer). If anyone has done a swap/ upgrade or know someone who has, please let me know if it’s as simple as plug and play.

I did this on a 2001 Impala using a Cluster from a 2004 Impala SS, just plug it in re-assemble and it worked perfect, this was a six gauge cluster. The cluster from a Monte Carlo will work as well. The only issue is it will show the mileage from the vehicle you took the cluster from.

Thank you so much! I’d been searching everywhere for an answer and no one was ever able to give me a yes or no. I can’t wait to try it out for myself.
