Hi all! New user to the forum here. I have a 2000 Impala LS which has an auxiliary input under the steering wheel area. The issue that I have is that I can't figure out a way to play audio through the aux input.

I saw a video on Youtube where someone had installed an aux input and had to have a CD in the CD player in order for the aux input to work. I tried this but had no luck.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I have attached photos below of what the front of the aux input looks like, the rear of the aux input and the radio. The picture of the radio has a cassette adapter in it but I removed that to try and play audio with the aux.
