Default 2002 chevy impala window problem

My passenger side power window just kind of fell down on it’s own, it does not go up but it makes a noise when i try so I don’t think it’s the switch. Do you think it could be the regulator and does that come with the motor? How does that door panel come off ? Thanx

The door panel is pretty dummy proof. YOu can see the bolts that need to be taken off. More than likely the motor is bad.

I'm having a problem with the rear passenger side power window in my 02 impala. I replaced the motor and the switch...the window will go down but not up...I used a meter to test the 5 wires, but it didn't really help me since I don't know what the 5 wires go to. Can anybody tell me what the 5 wires are. The colors are green, black, purple and 2 blue. I assumed that the green was ground, and the 2 blue were up and down for the window, meaning that the black and purple had to be the main power, but I only got a reading off the green and one blue...sorry if this doesn't make any sense can anybody give me a hand with this?

Welcome to the forum. The right rear window motor gets positive voltage on the DK BLU wire and ground on the BRN wire for the window up operation and vice versa. The working voltage can come from the driver window master switch or the right rear window switch, depending. The latter is wired:

Terminal A, DK BLU wire, retained accessory voltage with window lock-out switch closed
Terminal D, LT GRN wire, normally ground, positive for window up from master switch
Terminal H, PPL wire, normally ground, positive for window down from master switch
Terminal F, DK BLU wire, supplies positive voltage to motor for window up
Terminal G, BRN wire, supplies positive voltage to motor for window down
