New member here. Hope I could maybe get some help. I have a 2002 Impala that is having an issue. The third brake light over the trunk works, but the bottom 2 brake lights do not. I have replaced the multifunction switch. I also replaced the brake switch for the heck of it. The bulbs are good. Anyone got any ideas on what else to check? Thanks in advance.

 

the circuit runs through your hazard switch. replace that. that's how i fixed the same issue

i'm glad to have been of some help. at least now you won't have somebody behind you, possibly at a not so safe following distance, wondering, "is that center brake light on, but not the others?"
