Default 2002 Impala Weirrd Sounds

I am new to cars.. So I don't really know that much but I am getting there. But everytime I drive my car I am hearing a whining sound and I haven't taken it to the dealership to see what is wrong right now because it just started happening. But everytime I press on the gas I hear like a whining sound and also Everytime I make turns it will start making a loud sound as well and sometimes it will stop and others it will keep on going until I stop and turn on and off the car. Can anyone please tell me help me on what is wrong. At first I was thinking it could be the power steering whenever I turn but the other sounds while I am driving I am not sure.

How many miles on the car?

Does it only happen while you are on the gas?

IS there any vibration associated with the whine?

I have the same problem.
I think it might be in the intermediate steering shaft (ISS), but I need to bring it in after Christmas and see what my mechanic thinks.
