My 2007 LT with 21k miles makes what sounds like a ping noise while driving. This is most noticable when you are cruising (any speed)and slightly bump the throttle to accelerate. Tried getting fuel at different gas stationsas well ashigher octane but doesn't get rid of the noise. The noise is not present if I have the Tahoe in park and throttle it like I was driving. Anyone else have a similar noise? Going to have it looked into at the next oil change.

 

Mine just started the same thing last week. I have not tried a different brand of fuel yet. I have 21K miles.
