2003 impala check engine lite came on this morning flashed a few times (yellow), acted sluggish, then once i was up to 65-70 mph the flashing stopped and it sayed solid yellow.

happened again when i left work this evening.

i swear this can knows i have money coming and wants to be fed lol

 

If you don't have a scanner, take it to Autozone, they will scan it for free and you will know what is causing this problem.

 

When the cel is flashing the catalytic convertors are being damaged. don't drive this unless its to get repaired. Get this fixed soon.

Most likely an engine misfire is occuring.
