Default 2003 Impala Trunk Release Actuator Circuit Relay

I am trying to locate the exact relay and fuse for the trunk release actuator on my 2003 base 3.4 Impala.
I have power into and out of the the dash switch, but no power is reaching the trunk actuator solenoid.
Would not having the key less system working( as the factory radio has been changed out) in car affect the manual button?

I have the Haynes manual and searched internet but cant seem to find the info I need.

the trunk release switch and the trunk release actuator are on separate circuits. there is no fuse as its powered by the bcm.
the keyless and manual button are separate inputs to the bcm so they work independently.
if your keyless works and the button doesn't...you need to check that the button has grd when the button is pressed...its grds the circuit and the voltage goes low telling the bcm the switch has been pressed.. grd the switch power wire and see if the truck opens

I have never used the key less system as it never worked when I got car 6 months ago. I guess due to the non factory radio.

Great thanks for the info, I will look into it this weekend.
Thanks for taking the time to answer.

radio has no effect on keyless entry. if neither keyless and the button works it requires different diagnosis

Thank you for the help.
The factory radio is only a " means" of programming the BCM hence my confusion.
Problem solved.
You were correct ....... it was a bad ground to the trunk open button on the dashboard. I now have power to the actuator connector in the trunk when the button is pushed.I have ordered a new actuator as I know it is bad.

Also on the plus side my key fobs are also working now that I realized the original owner had batteries in the wrong way round, which I had proceeded to copy when I purchased the car to test fobs. ( I can fix cars but cant put batteries in correctly )
