2004 Impala blower motor
So my blower motor died just before heading home from Maine vacation so I removed the 30 amp fuse from the engine area and the 25 amp fuse from the passenger side compartment to appease my wife and ensure that we didn't go up in a ball of flame on the way home to Ottawa Canada. Ordered a replacement motor and hooked it up to test it without bolting everything back in just yet. Put the passenger fuse back in and then when I put the engine fuse back in the motor was running. THE KEYS WEREN'T IN THE IGNITION. I unplugged the new motor and plugged in the old motor and nothing - which is good I guess.
Any ideas why the blower motor is running without the keys in the ignition???
