Was able to get home without any other warnings maybe because I kept it under 50 mph. Any recommendations?
Replace the sensor.

Default Oil Pressure

My Low oil pressure warning on my 2007 Impala has been driving me crazy for almost two years now. I Changed the Sensor over a year ago which by the way did not help. Still have the problem daily.. Does anyone know how to disable the chime ? I have researched endlessly with no luck on how to fix the issue.. i have around 176,000 miles on the car now.

Run some thicker oil?

Do these have oil pump driveshafts? Maybe your main bearings are worn. Maybe there is a tear/rip in your oil pan gasket?

If you want to just get rid of the chiming just figure out what wire it is in the radio harness. The chime on these cars are ran through the speakers. I know this because I got an aftermarket radio and didn’t have the proper interface, played the music just no chimes like the seat belt, low washer fluid, and so on.
