sloshing sound in the heater box area
i had a buddy just call me and asked me where the drip spout location is for his car. 2005 chevy impala, he said the a/c is not dripping any water out on the floor as expected when it runs and he said when he is driving and making turns he can hear water sloshing around in the dash area. he changed the cabin filter thinking that was the issue but nope he still has it. so before i get to involved and waste time poking around i figured one of the guys here may have an idea as to where i can start looking or maybe some youtube links to watch for some pointers. it just may save me time asking here before i get real involved with this for him. thanks bp.
This is from one of those online "fixit" sites.

ok he stopped out and i blew out the a/c drain. it did not give me a rush of water after that. but he was low on coolant as well so we topped that off now it could be either one of those i told him if the sloshing goes away on the way home it was the drain being plugged up if it goes away tomorrow after it had time to cool and suck some coolant into the system then it was low on coolant. thanks.

Likely a good reason why the automotive industry adopted the cabin air filter, in fact. Keeps dust, ect from reducing the efficiency. Dust ain't no fun, I know, as I have eaten lots of it racing dirt-bikes. Try and wear a mask on an 85-mile race. It won't work for long before you rip it off.

yes i know but i'm not taking the heater system apart. but to be honest i do not think he had a blockage of the drain i think because the coolant tanks was empty that caused it based on most of the reports here saying that low coolant causes that symptom
